Atlas Equator Integra Stereo RCA Interconnects

Equator Integra is a stereo RCA interconnect cable, beautifully balanced, which offers a large three-dimensional soundstage and fine levels of resolution without any sense of exaggerated detail.

A consistent award winner for over a decade (winning What HiFi’s Best Interconnect Award FOUR times), the latest generation Equator Integra builds on the strengths of its predecessors to deliver an even greater price/performance ratio.

Equator Integra is fitted with the Integra non-magnetic RCA plug. The low mass Integra connector features a precision calibrated cold-weld connection, creating a coherent, continuous signal path. The signal conductor is now high purity OCC (Ohno Continuous Casting) copper encased with a superbly constructed double screen to provide maximum resistance to RFI (Radio Frequency Interference), which can raise noise levels in a poorly shielded cable.

The Equator range by Atlas Cables also includes a subwoofer interconnect and speaker cables.

Technology

• Integra RCA Connector - Integra is a low-mass, non-compression, constant impedance, self-cleaning, solder-free construction RCA plug.
• OCC Copper Conductor - (OCC) Ohno Continuous Casting copper was developed based on research that sound quality was related to the quality of copper and the processing used during cable manufacture.
• PEF (Foamed Polyethylene) Dielectric - The foaming process uses a blowing agent, of which there are two types. Atlas use the gas-foamed method which creates a more inert, consistent and higher quality product.
• Co-Ax Construction - A central conductor (signal path) surrounded by dielectric material encased within a circular conducting screen which acts as the signal return path.
