We have just received our stock of the amazing new £599 Sennheiser IE800 earphones.
In order to compete with the rest of the portfolio fo the Club Orpheus range, the Sennheiser IE800 earphones are able to produce an enormous frequency response from 5 to 46,500 Hz. The extra wide band drivers used inside the Sennheiser IE800 are a world first at only 7 mm in diameter and are housed in a stunning ceramic housing. Not only do these drivers provide excellent sound quality, but also perfect timing.
Another huge improvement in technology is the Sennheisher vented magnet system. This system allows the driver to operate with the minimum amount distortion. The oscillating motion of the diaphragm produces an air flow in the magnet system housing that causes the driver to wobble slightly. Sennheiser positioned the vent holes in the housing directly under the magnets so the air flows in a specific direction. This design allows the total harmonic distortion to less than 0.06 percent.
The last innovative feature of the Sennheiser IE800 earphones is the revolutionary way to solve the problem of masking – which is when low volume frequencies are masked by louder low frequency sounds. This is made possible by the new absorber which absorbs all the energy from the loud low frequency sounds.
The fit is excellent due to the oval shaped ear tips. If you decide you still like the older round ones, no worries those are included in the box as well.
