B&W have announced the P7 headphones, their first ever over-ear headphones.
Designed using only the highest quality materials and with stunning aesthetics, the B&W P7s are designed to fit the contours of the wearer’s head. Released with soft leather ear-cups they enable you to wear the headphones for long periods of time without them sweating and .

B&W have designed the headphones so that there is a consistent volume of air between the drive unit and the surface of the ear to help maintaing the stereo imaging for each individual user.
B&W have incorporated design tricks that would normally be found in B&W’s HiFi loudspeakers meaning that the sonics are more precise and controlled which I think means they are using the DM6xx series woven kevlar technology for the drive unit, which means that the cone is lighter and offers greater dynamics.

As with all current B&W headphones, they come with a detachable cable so that you can chose between a cable with a mic and control or one without.
