Resonessence Herus DAC
Thumb sized HERUS has a machined aluminium enclosure with a single USB input and ¼ “ headphone jack. Features of the design include the ESS Sabre DAC chip and Xilinx FPGA core processors implementing custom Resonessence signal processing and filtering. The miniature device is USB powered and achieves better than 0.01% (80dB) THD and better the 105dB of SNR. It outputs up to 2.4V RMS and can drive headphones from 600 Ohms to 32 Ohms impedance. We have designed HERUS to work with MS Windows, MAC and Linux computers and provides an exceptionally convenient form factor, and high resolution/DSD capable audiophile device.
