Terminations

Terminations are a catch-all description for the many different things that can be attached to the end of a cable. There are many designs of plugs, connectors and adaptors available, and different ways they can be attached (solder, crimp, push-fit). Plus, certain kinds of cable (i.e. Loudspeaker cables) may require a bare wire termination, which means no plug or connector is used at all.
