Connecting to your Android device with a cable should provide a decent connection. But what if it could be even better? These audiophile-grade OTG cables provide a super-stable connection that supplies superior sound.

OTG cables go between your phone and your portable DAC. Both the USB-C and the USB Micro version are available.

To transfer the digital signal from your phone to your DAC, the connection must be stable. These cables use a USB 3.0 Tyoe-A female connector, which is proven to be an extremely mechanically reliable connection.

OTG means "On-The-Go" and is similar to a normal standard USB cable, except an additional pin is connected via a resistor. This resistor tells a phone or smart device, which is normally in Device Mode (pretending to be a USB disk) to switch into Host Mode, where it acts like a computer and can, if needed, drive USB connected DACs.

NB: Not suitable for Apple devices - Official Apple cables feature a built-in chip to allow the digital extraction, whilst Android is different, an actual resistor is employed to impede one signal path.
